To play an essential role in delivering this we are looking for a Baker to join our Restaurant team. You’ll be responsible for preparing and providing a range of sponge cakes which are all hand finished throughout the day. Our restaurants are passionate about producing delicious quality produce and you will play a key role in this.
Responsibilites
- Preparing a range of cream cakes to high class finish. Our bakery teams also provide ‘bakery to go’ products for sale in the main store and foodhall so there is a variety of things to do.
- Ordering stock and successful delivery of budgetary controls
- Delivering high levels of service all within the Dobbies company guidelines
- Ensuring all operation is compliant with statutory requirements such as health & safety and food hygiene
Who we are looking for
- Experience working as a Baker with successful delivery of production at volume
- Excellent organisation skills with an enthusiasm to get things done well
- Knowledge of food hygiene, and ideally relevant food safety qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail bakery role would be an advantage
